Former player and club member Pete Collins has recently passed away.
Steve Williams (Wilf) remembers Pete and said of him,
"I knew Pete during the 1970s when I came up from the colts to the seniors, I cannot remember him being a 1st team player but he was a great influence on us younger players in the 3rds and 4ths working our way up.
He later enjoyed the social side of the club and both he and his wife Lilian were active members
Sadly Lilian passed away a few years ago but Pete still came up to watch games up until last season, as with most rugby players he was a bit of a character and will be sadly missed."
