It is with deepest regret and condolences offered that the club wishes to inform members and friends of the passing of two former club players.

Brad Rees has contacted us today to say that his much loved Dad, John Rees passed away at Southmead hospital on the 10th August. John was a life member of the club and was a player through the 1960s and 1970s playing as a prop in the front row union.

Arrangements for the funeral of John Rees are as follows;

Thursday 15th September 1.45pm at Westerleigh Crematorium followed by a wake at Cleve RFC from 2.30pm

Neil Woodrow has also passed away this week aged 69 years. Neil played at the club in the 1970s and 80s as a centre. He was a former junior player, colts player and then senior squad player.

Arrangements for the funeral of Neil Woodrow are as follows:

Tuesday 6th September 11am at Westerleigh Crematorium followed by a wake at Cleve RFC from midday

Deepest sympathies to all family, friends and playing colleagues of both players.
