Introductrion by interim Chair, Simon Wilstead

I will take this opportunity to introduce myself to members and friends of the club. My name is Simon Wilstead and I have been involved in many aspects of club life since 2005 when my children started playing rugby at the club progressing through the Mini and Junior sections. I currently coach within the junior section, and next season my age group will become the U16s. I have supported the Executive Committee to date helping with the communications role at the club, supporting work parties and projects, and I have also taken full advantage of the social element of the rugby club over the years! I hope that this experience and the support of the members and committee can help me step into the huge void and steer the club through towards the impending AGM in August.

My priority in this interim role is to promote, encourage and foster all rugby at Cleve, maintain and develop the club and build strong community bonds. If you can help in any way please get in touch as I’m always open to any questions, ideas or suggestions.

Thats me pictured below in my favorite hat.......if you see me around at the club and have any questions please come and say hello.
